We work from a tightly edited fixture palette rather than from a catalog. The goal is the right fixture for the room, specified with the right trim, the right color temperature, and the right dimming behavior — not the easiest fixture to source.

We also specify outside this list when a project calls for it. Specification is a design decision, not a vendor relationship.
The DMF Protected Channel
Our DMF relationship is a protected specification channel: a curated, non-commoditized recessed and architectural fixture program that is not available through general distribution. For our clients, that means the lighting palette in their home is quieter, more architectural, and not the same product you will see on Amazon or in big-box channels. For architects and interior designers, it means the fixtures specified in the drawing are actually delivered, with the trims and finishes that were chosen.

- One designer in charge of the fixture schedule, not a procurement department
- Trims, finishes, and lensing chosen against the interior palette, not from a default
- Decorative coordination with the interior designer’s specifications
- Long-lead items flagged early and ordered with the right buffer
- Cut sheets and finish samples delivered for owner review when warranted

On Pricing
Fixture pricing on a luxury residential project varies widely with scope, trim selection, and decorative content. Design fees are credited toward the fixture and control package on full-scope engagements — the design investment funds itself.
