Nashville Architectural Lighting & Shade Design
We bring 25 years of architectural lighting & shade design practice to Nashville’s most considered custom homes and significant renovations. The city’s luxury residential market — across Belle Meade, Brentwood, Franklin, and the rolling country south of town — has matured into one of the most design-forward in the country, and we work with the architects, interior designers, and builders shaping it.
Why Nashville Homeowners and Designers Choose Us
Design-Led, Not Vendor-Led We are a lighting studio, not a smart-home dealer. Our work begins during schematic design and is structured around the architectural and interior design intent rather than around the equipment we sell. Architects and interior designers find that they can use us the way they would use any other consultant — as a peer.
Full-Scope Studio Lighting design. Fixture specification. Lighting control. Motorized shades. Landscape lighting. One studio, one point of contact, one documentation standard. No parade of subcontractors.
Lutron and Crestron Authorized designers for Lutron RadioRA 3, HomeWorks, and Crestron Home. Keypad-based control replaces banks of switches with a small number of beautifully engraved stations, programmed for the way the household actually lives.
A Quiet Local Footprint A small, high-trust team supports each market for commissioning and field work, with design and programming handled centrally. No vans parked on site for weeks. No drama for the builder.

Our Services
Lighting Design
A complete lighting plan for the home — interior, exterior, façade, and landscape — coordinated with the architecture from schematic design forward. Lumen calculations, beam angles, color temperature, and dimming curves tuned to the room, the finishes, and the way the household actually uses the space.
Fixture Specification
A curated palette from DMF, Lucetta, Luminii, WAC, and Visual Comfort, including DMF’s protected specification channel — a quieter, more architectural fixture line not available through general distribution.
Lighting Control
Lutron RadioRA 3, HomeWorks, and Crestron Home systems. Centralized control with beautifully engraved keypads, scheduled scenes, and app access where useful. The goal is a house that does the right thing on its own.
Motorized Shades & Curtains
Crestron, Lutron, and Screen Innovations. Roller shades, Roman shades, drapery, dual-track sheer-and-blackout configurations, and outdoor solar screens — all coordinated with the lighting and integrated into the same scenes.
Landscape Lighting
Garden Light LED, Coastal Source, and FX Luminaire. Brass and machined aluminum fixtures with 20-year warranties. Façade, garden, and path lighting unified with the interior scenes.
The C4 Approach in Nashville
We engage during schematic design, in close collaboration with the architect, interior designer, and builder. Design fees are credited toward the fixture and control package on full-scope engagements — so the design investment funds itself through the system we specify.
We are deliberately easy for the trade to work with. Documentation matches your sheet standards. RFIs are answered the same day. Field visits are scheduled around the build calendar. Final aiming and scene tuning are done with you and the client in the finished house.
Ready to Discuss a Nashville Project?
The best moment to bring in a lighting studio is during schematic or early design-development, but we are comfortable engaging later when the project warrants it.
