For Custom Builders
A good lighting and controls partner makes your job easier. A bad one creates RFIs, delays, and warranty calls for the next ten years. We design the work so that the first part is true and the second is not.
How We Make the Build Easier
Documentation Electricians Can Build From Reflected ceiling plans, fixture schedules with cut sheets, control one-lines, keypad layouts with engraving, and load schedules — formatted clearly, with no ambiguity about which fixture goes where, which keypad controls which load, and which conduit needs to be where.
Fast Field Response Field RFIs answered the same day. We are reachable, and we travel when we need to.
Electrician-Friendly, Not Adversarial Electricians install the system. Our job is to make their work easier and the result better — clear documentation, sensible junction-box locations, accessible panel placement, and answers when something on the drawing does not match the wall in front of them.
A Small Local Commissioning Team We keep a small, high-trust team for final keypad install, scene tuning, and commissioning. No large installer crews to schedule around. No vans parked on site for weeks.
Single Point of Contact One studio responsible for lighting design, fixture supply, control programming, and motorized shades. One number to call. One throat to choke, as the saying goes — though our goal is to make that unnecessary.
What We Will Not Do
- Send a parade of subcontractors through the house
- Cause electrical-trade delays
- Specify equipment that cannot be sourced
- Make warranty service the homeowner’s problem
- Argue with the electrician on site
Project Management Posture
We integrate into your schedule, not the other way around. Rough-in dates, drywall dates, paint, finish, and commissioning windows — we plan against the actual build calendar. Long-lead fixtures are flagged early and ordered with the right buffer.
What We Need From You
- Early access to drawings (the earlier we are involved, the less rework there is later)
- A point of contact for the electrical trade
- Honest schedule expectations
- A walk-through opportunity when finishes are in but before final aiming
Let’s Talk
If you have a project upcoming, share what you have and tell us about the schedule. We will tell you honestly whether we can support it well — and if we cannot, we will say so.
